Cesar Garcia, LEED AP

Mdn Architects is committed to advancing sustainable design within the development community; leading this effort in our office is Cesar Garcia, LEED AP.  He is a long standing advocate for sustainable architecture, being one of the area’s first professionals to earn full LEED certification in 2004.  Cesar has held leadership positions with both the local chapter of the US Green Building Council and the San Antonio Government Affairs Sustainability Task Force.  His involvement in the latter was instrumental in the City’s adoption of their standing Mission Verde Plan.  He regularly presents on the topic of sustainability to members of the design, construction, and real estate industries.

In his role as Project Manager with Mdn Architects, Cesar has designed and completed the documentation for several LEED rated projects including two Gold Level projects and various with sustainable guidelines; one of which was the first big box retail in the Country to attain this distinction.  His passionate approach to sustainability in the development process is holistic, thoughtfully encompassing both the owner’s design objectives, and minimizing its impacts on the Environment.
