Lowe’s, Austin, TX - Lowe’s was the first large format store in the nation to achieve a Gold rating under LEED-NC through the U.S. Green Building Council. Currently, it is also the highest rated store within the Lowe’s organization. Mdn evaluated the building and made modifications toward a sustainable design that met the owner’s requirements. The intent for Lowe’s was to be able to replicate the success of this building in other parts of the country as a site adapt.
